Jelani “J Wyze” Nias
Jelani “J Wyze” Nias was born on the island of Antigua in 1977, has lived in Bermuda and now resides in Toronto, Canada. He has been writing professionally for 16 years. In 2013, his short stories were featured in two anthologies “In The Black: New African Canadian Literature” and “So The Nailhead Bend, So The Story End: an Anthology of Antiguan and Barbudan Writing”.
An accomplished spoken word artist, his poetry can be found in “Word Up: Spoken Words In Print” and on EMI Canada’s companion audio compilation also entitled ‘Word Up’. His articles have been published by the Toronto Star and included in Canadian civic high school texts. He has also had various poems incorporated into syllabi for the University of Alberta’s English courses.
“Where Eagles Crawl and Men Fly” is his first novel.
