Project Title: ULTIMO INNING

Santiago de Cuba, 1985. Alexis is a handsome and extremely talented young man for baseball who lives in Palma Soriano, a small town 40 kilometers from Santiago de Cuba. Alexis sees baseball as the only way out of his town, where boredom and alcohol wear out the lives of all his family and friends. Several of his friends have made him believe that his aspiration should be to play in the Major Leagues, in the United States.
