Aurora Herrera
Aurora Herrera began her media career as a columnist for the Trinidad Guardian at the ripe old age of 14. Soon after she began hosting and producing televised content for local TV.
Her perpetual interest in people and their stories of everyday life led her to a Specialist in Journalism at the University of Toronto. Acknowledging the depth of her convictions and abilities, she joined the ranks of freelancers the world over and for the next six years, Herrera explored the bounds of her passion by working vigorously in every industry position she could ascertain.
Since moving back to Trinidad, Herrera’s love of media propelled her into a world of creating rich and diversified programming that has been syndicated internationally.
Herrera continues to add notches to her belt. After all, who said that a girl only has to be a journalist, publicist, blogger, assistant director, writer, digital strategist, host, producer…but who cares about titles….it’s all for the love of story-telling.
